Bronberg Retirement Estate is an upmarket retirement facility which offers several housing options ranging from single-storey stand-alone units to multi-level apartment blocks.

The roofs (36 906m²) were designed in hip and gable configurations and were pitched at 30˚. They were covered in slate-styled concrete tiles which offset the development’s low-maintenance face-brick masonry.

Dry ridging, which comes with a ventilated membrane, was installed throughout. Aesthetically superior to its mortar-based equivalent and maintenance-free, its better air circulation means it prevents mould and dry rot, and extends roof life.
